I put my quit date as May 16. I have only had 4 1/2 cigarettes today! Tomorrow will be less, same for the day after and the day after! 🙂

Instead of smoking less why don't you quit sooner . Cause cutting done doesn't always work well . Just saying .

Make a plan to help you with your craves and triggers. A failure to plan is a plan to fail. Make a quit kit. Candy, gum, sunflower seeds. I did/do puzzles, read books, take long baths, suck on lemons (it works), drink lots of cold water and sleep. Get as much information as possible in order to make your quit as easy as possible.

I can't afford to buy anything to help with the craves/triggers... That is one reason why I am trying to quit. I have just about been eating everything in sight to keep from having a cigarette... It's working....kinda... Also, Tinkerbell23, I understand where you're coming from, but I can't quit cold turkey, because my husband smokes, my cousin smokes, my mom smokes, and so do my in-laws.. I'm around them all the time... So, to be able to quit, I am slowing down.. 🙂
