I'm pretty sure we all know people in our lives that have died way too young from cancer or smoking related illnesses or people that are still with that's struggling just to breathe! I know 4 friends good friends that have died just since I quit smoking a little over 7 Years ago each friend had cancer different forms of course but each person smoked! One friend died just a couple of months after I quit, I walked by several friends outside the funeral home that were smoking WHEW it was hard to keep walking at the time because I was craving like crazy for a damned Cancer Stick BUT I wasn't going to give in because I knew that ONE just wouldn't be enough! Smoking kills and it doesn't matter who you are or where you live it kills and it kills slowly!
I just found out that one of my first cousins has stage 4 throat cancer he had a larangectomy with a permanent trach put in he has no voice! the Drs didn't get all of the cancer he's going to need chemo and radiation both! Yes he smoked damn it!!!!! I don't know all the details yet! He lives in Ontario and I'm in N.B we don't see each other often BUT I love him he's family!!!!
