Smoke-Free Football

Hi Everyone,

Tomorrow will be my first Dolphin football game as a non-smoker. I will longer have to leave the stadium in the middle of the game just to smoke a cigarette and miss all the action. I'll enjoy all of the food at the tailgate because usually I'd smoke instead of eat. 

There is nothing I hated more than to leave the stadium and stand with all the other smokers while we heard the roar of the crowd inside.

I well remember those days at the baseball park.  At least they had TV's and we could smoke in the concoufse - but there's nothing like being PRESENT, is there???

Actually, it's a lot easier than I anticipated...even the Michigan - Ohio State game party.  What a sad, sad day...but made it without a smoke!

Grats on your quit. Sorry about the Dolphins ; I've seen them play against New England a couple times up here. We are spoiled as Patriots fans. Nancy will stay up late Monday to watch her Ravens fall a game behind Pittsburgh after MNF is over. Kjay

Yes as Dolphin fans we are used to condolences haha! The only consolation is that even though we lose often the weather is always warm and sunny.

Not a fan, much, though my Dad cheers for the Chargers as they break his heart. 

The big news is not having to miss a minute of anything to have a cigarette, so Yay!

There is a wonderful life out there as a non-smoker, all we have to do is not smoke and we discover.

I missed many things when I look back through the years of my smoking history it is very sad BUT I  am so glad that will not happen any longer !
