Seventy-Five Days

Seventy-Five days...ummph... and still going.  There are still times when I get a very strong desire to smoke but my mind quickly and easily is distracted from it and things carry on as they were.  Seventy-five days is a long time for someone who smoked everyday for 40 years and I don't want to ruin my record.  In all my quits I never made it this far.  I faired well through every trigger I anticipated on encountering and then some and during those times I found strength and the will power to NOT give in and I survived it.

If I can do it... anyone can.

75 days is AWESOME!

You are traveling through No Mans Land (2-4 months quit), so stay vigilant.  This is a time when an intense crave can hit you out of the blue and almost bring you to your knees.  It may feel as though it is going to last forever, and you might start to feel as though this battle has gone on too long and give in.  DON'T!  If you are prepared for it with the tools you used successfully earlier in your quit, it will have no power over you.

Stay prepared!

Thank you all.  You're the best.

Where can I read and find out about this "no man's land"?
