Every time Ive tried to quit, Ive failed. I love the way I feel when I do, but my motivation just goes down hill after a while. I tell myself, "oh, its ok, your not going to die now so one more cigarette wont matter" and Im on my way back to smoking again...

My excuse was always that it "wasn't the right time now". Geeee...it hasn't seemed to be the "right" time for about 12 years!!!! The time is now!!!!! We can do this.

Hi Misty!

I think most of us here know exactly how you feel, and know all the excuses we make just to smoke. Quitting has to be something you really want, no one can make you quit. It's a mind set.

For me I needed some help, so I've been on Chantix since 4/14 and have been smoke free since 4/21, not too bad for someone who didn't think she would ever be able to quit.

You can do it to, maybe you just need more help than you are getting

Lots of luck!! 😃

I have been smoke free for 101 days and will be buying a pack today I think. I wish i could give you some inspiring words that would help the both of us but I don't. I am hoping that someone in here will help.
