Hi Kaydence, do you mean to rid it of nicotine or for constipation? I'm in nursing, so I cannot help myself here. The body is an amazing thing and repairs itself if you let it. It doesn't require internal cleansing; just water, nutritious food and exercise.  However, I read on another site that acidic juices will help the nicotine clear faster if that is your wish.  One example is pure cranberry juice.  While I can understand wanting the drug out ASAP, let the body do it naturally on it's own.

Yes I was thinking for the nicotine, so that's. I'm going to try the grapefruit juice, but I'm also cutting way back on the smoking, so I"m hope between the two I can quit. My quit date isn't until the 24th, but I have a week to get prepared.

If you haven't quit yet, then do not start the juice it.  Nicotine is an alkaloid and the juices are acidic.  They will neutralize.  This will lower your nicotine blood level which will send you into withdrawals and you'll only smoke more.  Wait until you are done with nicotine for good, then try and "flush" it.  Life will be hell for you otherwise.

most of the nicotine leaves your body within three days after you smoke it or ingest it.

the hardest part of quitting is not the nicotine.

it is the memories of it and the dopamine release it facilitates each time you smoked

and the emotions those memories were tied to.

the best way to look at it is you will be relearning to live without smoking to make new memories

tied to those old emotions without smoking.
