@Julie1960 You smoked because you're addicted like the rest of us. But now that' behind you. You've learned what not to do--that's what is important. You got this.
And remember, if you think about smoking reach out first. That's what support groups are for.
Great advice above. I would also suggest you think about what was happening...what may have triggered your reaching for that smoke. And then, think about what you will do the next time that happens. We all have/had triggers........things that almost put us on autopilot to a smoke. It is knowing what these are and then deciding what you will do when it happens again that helps you keep your quit. AND...as others have said, come here and "talk"-----it's what the site is for.
Day one is nice ! Remember all that made you back to this day ! Do not forget, keep in mind again and again ! This will help you to resist the addiction..the slavery...the monster..the smoke..
