This will pass. How long have you not smoked? Sing, Lee, sing right now. Think of a song from childhood, start to song and.try to remember all the words. Your voice is beautiful, try too song outside your range. You remember this,.distract! I'm glad you are back. You can do it.
Don't do it Lee. You don't want to start over. You've been here before. Be strong! You are a beautiful singer! I really want you to quit. You are better then that. I want to see how proud you will feel at 100 days, 200 days, 1 year. And I know you can do it!!! NOPE!
Lee, really! You have the opportunity of a lifetime ahead of you, are you going to blow it before you even get there? Protect your voice, protect your life by protecting your quit! You are doing this! You want to be a success?! Right?
Its just really hard. Especially since I have a tendency to get very down emotionally. I know smoking is only a temporary fix. But sometimes it seems better in the moment.
It might feel better for a moment, but then you have to deal with the guilt, regret and feelings of failing. Instead, Don't smoke and feel proud and invigerated, that you did it. You showed the addiction, that you are stronger. AND YOU ARE!
When this happens again (and it will for a time) try doing something physical like jumping jacks or try simple stretching exercices. Stetch your arms as far out as they can go Works for so many of us! Drink some iced cold water also.
And yeah I was thinking about maybe going to work out. I've lost 40 lbs in the past six months through diet and exercise. So maybe I've try to do that.
When I feel down I go over to youtube and surf around I like to listen to all kinds of music and watch funny videos. Then I go cook something I really like to eat. I am glad you are still smoke free. You can do this hang in there you are doing great.
