Well I quite back in March and did great for about 90 day and fell off the wagon.  I really need to figure out how to handle the trigger of stress.  I had 3 very good friends die in one month and boom I was so stupid and started again.

My new quit date is Saturday.  Please have me in your thoughts and prayers.

Linda N. has an excellent quote for you, "it's not failure until you stop trying". There are so many moments, situations, and tragedies in life at times it seems impossible to come out on top, but with support from people who understand and a little forgiveness from yourself, positivity returns

I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your friends. Welcome back. What I have found during my quit is that stress is there - whether I smoke or not. We only THINK that the smoking relieves the stress.....that is my believe. I got to that understanding by reading blogs here, reading at www.quitsmokingonline.com, www.whyquit.com, and Allen Carr's book. It is unbelievable to me that it took me these many years to figure this out! Today is my 59th day quit. You can do this!

HEY! I'm Grinning from ear to ear because YOU are coming back! YEA!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Welcome Back! Now you can be certain that smoking doesn't help one bit through those terribly stressful times in your life! I really am sorry for your losses but smoking didn't make things better - actually made things worse - NOW YOU KNOW!

@emt088

Welcome back. I’m a newbie and reset my stop date 3 times before I made it. Wow 90 days that’s great. Just keep going . Try mediation and/or yoga 🧘🏽‍♀️ for stress.  You got this!

@deedeepurple , I’m not sure if you were aware that this is a post from 2010 .

Some of these posts however are worth bringing back and hopefully this person got back on the wagon and is quit today . Lots of good info in older posts as well as new posts .
