Raindrops Keep Falling on My Head

My experience has been that it was increasingly difficult for me to smoke when I woke up and realized what I was doing to myself and to the people I love—that includes everyone.   The choices we make everyday are far reaching—and affect people we know and don’t know.   Everywhere we go, people are watching what we do and they are listening to what we say.   When you are fully awake and conscious of the consequences of smoking and stay awake and fully conscious-- it's easy to quit smoking.    So, while it may be somewhat difficult to "remember why I am quitting when the thought comes to your mind “I want to smoke,” (for external reasons) it is easy when you "remember.”  If that means carrying around a list or just a small piece of paper that says I will not smoke today because I made a promise to myself, and I will not break my word to myself.   We all want and strive to keep our promises to other people.  Let us keep our promise to ourselves as well.    I repeat this mantra everyday—Thank you for everything, I have no complaints.   As you say it and think about it, it takes on new meaning in every situation and challenge you face.    Don’t be a gambler with your future, be an investor.  God bless each and every one of you and know you can quit smoking,.   The benefits are innumerable.  Listen to your heart, love yourself, be kind and gentle and patient with yourself.   And laugh—it is good for the soul.

Raindrops keep fallin' on my head, and just like the guy whose feet are too big for his bed
Nothin' seems to fit.   Those raindrops are fallin' on my head, they keep fallin'

So I just did me some talkin' to the sun, and I said I didn't like the way he got things done
Sleepin' on the job, those raindrops are fallin' on my head, they keep fallin'.

But there's one thing I know, the blues they send to meet me won't defeat me.
It won't be long till happiness steps up to greet me.    Raindrops keep fallin' on my head,
but that doesn't mean my eyes will soon be turnin' red Cryin's not for me  'Cause I'm never gonna stop the rain by complainin'……… Because I'm free Nothin's worryin' me.
