Quit day +1

I am blessed to have made it through day one, yesterday! Made sure I was doing other things than normal, eat carrots, worked on a puzzle, and took a nap.

This morning is quit day plus one and I am really praying for a good day. Morning coffee always goes so well with a cigarette, but I am having it in the house instead of out on the deck. Just that little change makes a big difference.

My cough seems to be getting worse, it may take a couple of days for it to get better. I am focused on all the reasons I am quitting. This cough is chief among them. At 62 and retired I truly want To have a good life with my spouse. Quitting is the best thing for now and for my future.
