Quick Note

OldBones-Larry

I returned home a couple of hours ago.

I had another exacerbation late yesterday evening.

4 hours in the ER and then overnight in the Acute Care for observation since the couldn't get the relief I needed in the ER.

Several IV infusions (1 a steroid and another of an antibiotic) and loads of bloodwork to make sure that I had not had a heart attack on top of everything else.

So, I have a script of antibiotic for the next 4 days and was advised to start a regimine of Zyrtec or something like it until the end of Fall. I was told I should do this at the beginning of Spring each year to possibly avoid this problem.

No guarantee though.

I should have an separate AC in my room within a day or two to assure lower temps. That will help also.

Other than that, I am doing fine and will try catch up on the time I lost being woke up for the poking and prodding.

I won't hold my breath on that working though.

I am thinking of each and every one of you daily even though I cannot be online for any length of time anymore.

Continue to travel safely and keep watch for Nic and his followers. Watch for the traps them might have set along the trail.

I will continue to watch from the caves high on the mountain and send aid when it is needed.

The Sheik and his Bedoins are always riding the desert to try and keep all of you safe.

One step, and then another, will get you to where you want to be.

Larry

Update !!!!

Hi Larry.  Sorry you had to go to the hospital.  I have been taking Zyrtec this year (my pulmonologist told me to)  I believe it is helping.  Praying you get better real soon.

I hope you get better soon. Let us know if that Zyrtec helps I am having the worst time with my allergies and my primary doctor said to use Zyrtec or I think it was Claritin and Flonase nasal spray. I got the Flonase but not the other two allergy meds I did not want to waste my money on something that might not work very well. I usually take Benadryl but that makes me sleepy. I hope you sleep well and get your air conditioner installed and get cooled down.

You are still in my prayers, Larry, and in my thoughts.  May you find some peace in body and in mind, my friend, so you may breathe easy for awhile.  God bless.

Hope you got that AC in last night.  I'll bet that will help a lot.  Maybe get a small de-humidifier too?  Sorry you're having such a hard time of it.  Prayers up for you.

Larry I want to thank you for welcoming me me to the X site. Yes I'm brand-new. my quit date is July 13th. I decided to follow you and stay in contact as well as a few other people on this website. I appreciate your story and can relate to some health issues. Nothing as severe although my brother had a triple bypass when he was 40 years old.. I just wanted to shoot you a quick note. I bought the book by Alan Carr and I'm in the process of reading it right now. I'm getting ready to make dinner. Expct me to be on here a lot more come next month. Thanks for your support

About the Author
I am a male that underwent coronary artery bypass X3 (triple) on 10/22/13 at the age of 55. I was living on about 20-30% of one coronary artery and my left heart output was only 20% to 25%. I spent a week in the hospital after surgery and went home. Then had to go back a day later for another week because I had pneumonia. Finally a few days because of a slight arythmia. All told it has been about 2 1/2 weeks. I am past the cravings by now and only have the urges to contend with. I really don't suggest that anyone quits smoking using this technique though. I'll have to carry the scars from that day for the rest of my life. The large one down the center of my chest, and the ones from several "silent" infarctions. I came that close to the next world. Never again will I subject my body to that (at one point in my life I was smoking 5 packs of cigarillos a day). I now have to say N.O.P.E. (Not One Puff Ever) every day of my life. TheOldGoat-Joan, I miss you terribly my friend. Elder Lists Guilia's: (/blogs/Giulia-blog/2017/06/18/elders-list-ao-december-7-2016 ) or Smorgy's (Chronological Elder List)
