Problems on EX

I can't pledge each morning to remain smokefree for the next 24 hours"no matter what happens to me"!! I've done everything that people on the site, as well as EX Admin., told me to do. This includes clean my cache, sign off and sign on again, use a different computer, use Google Chrome, etc. We even went on under my husband's name and NO BOX to pledge and POST in.

This has been bad enough but when EX Admin. said I was just ONE person and they couldn't even recreate the problem, I was hurt. They said they could fix it if it were bothering more than one person. I told them that they didn't take my smobriety seriously. Hey, I smoked for 54 LOOOOONNNNNGGGG years and it's going to take awhile for me to get over hand to mouth, and I NEED THE PLEDGE AND MY FRIENDS ON THERE. 

Any suggestions???

Sorry for the curt reply. I'm not computer savvy so am unable to help that way. I use my ipad and Safari for Internet with no issues.

Candy, I don't know what to suggest.     I was wondering why it was taking EX so long to get you back on the pledge page.    I don't understand why that group and not others????      Let me ponder on this for a bit.

HI: Candy just me. Can you explain to me what is happening with your computer? I know it is hard and sometimes unexplainable.But try and give it a shot.My son is a computer programer and I can ask him this weekend.No garuntees.I know how important this site is to you, just like my sites are to me. If you go to someone else's page and see yourself, it means that they have withdrawn! That leaves a void, and any one who goes there fills the void! If I go there I will see myself! When you use a different browser to visit the pledge page you have to make sure you are signed in again, or you are not allowed to make comments! No comment box! So when you open the site with Chrome, be sure to sign in again!

If it's not your browser and it's not your cache it's probably either your JAVA or Shockwave flash plugins.

See if you can't check on updating those

Candy I don't have computer advice, but I think you should just post a blog in the morning with your pledge until the problem is resolved. Love ya, don't smoke over it!♥

I have no doubt you will make it to 200 days, pledge group or not because you are so committed and you protect your quit with everything you have!! I'm sorry about the unfeeling reply because there is an answer-just not found yet.

Candy, I aree with Cory, just post a blog each morning and pledge (I was not even aware of a "pledge function" on this site).

Also, another thing you may want to try: create a new "user ID" from scratch and see if that works for you. If not, it has nothing to do with this site, but with your computer. Hope that helps! Andrea

How were you accessing the group? On the EX site? shortcut on your desktop?

Try putting in "March 2014 Pledge Group" up in Community Search and see if it brings it up.

You make your water pledge within the group, make your no smoking pledge there as well. Must be something within that particular group??

Blog your pledge daily via a blog. you can say it every morning. I know lot of us will join you. Plus I think you will get more people involed this way. No matter was ex admins says, You are special to us we love and care about you. So shake of what they said. because people like me need you 🙂

Candy.....I hope you figure it out.....I am sure it is so frustrating. I know computer things make me nuts. In the meantime, I like the idea of doing a daily blog to pledge.
