Pir8fan (Tommy) is in need of our prayers. He is having some heart issues and is being hospitalized. A heart cath is probably needed. I will keep you up to date on this blog.

Not at first. I was out out recently and had no diet restrictions. In fact, I made a stop to get food on way home lol. U just get crackers or cookies at first soon after awakening. I think it 'll depends on what was done to you.

He is going to be ok. Small arteries is what was causing the pain. It will be home with meds. They are keeping him another night to monitor him.

OK! Could have been better, coud have been a lot worse! They are keeping me another night! Blood pressure has spiked, probably due to steroids used combat the dye used in the cath! Also want watch my kidney through the night! Pain seems to be from small artery disease! Many are clogged and there is no way to clean them out! Will try to slow clogging with med!

Thank to all who have offered support! Love to all as well ❤️

Keeping those prayers coming, Tommy.  You are going to beat this.  Hope you were able to get some rest, hospitals and rest do not go well together, do they?

Thinking of you, sending love.

I am home! Thank you again for all your prayers and well wishes and support! I am out of the hospital! Had great nursing care but I really did not like being there! Never have! So many of their policies make no sense! I will not elaborate, but continue to believe that hospitals are no place for sick people!!

Now I have a couple of days to relax and heal before the cruise! The bad news is that I will not be able to go into the ocean or pool for the first few days! The Cath was inserted through an incision in my groin! I am not allowed to submerge that until the scab is gone! Really want to float around in the ocean at the private island, but it is not worth the risk! I keep telling myself that!

Again, thanks to all! Live free my friends! Live Smoke Free!          Tommy

Good To Hear.  🙂

Don't give that cath a bacon wrap

or you might have a greasy cath.

Glad you back in your own abode!  Sorry that you can't swim!!!   But just walking on the beach with feet in the water will be a boost I would think!  And no, it's not worth the risk!  ♥

It is good to hear that you are home and able to go on your vacation.  Enjoy yourself - but take care!

I'm so glad you are home, Tommy.  You are absolutely right about hospitals.  Studies have proven that most hospitals are rampant with germs and bacteria.  Not because they don't clean enough.  But because all the sick people bring that stuff with them.  So it stands to reason that sick people (who have a lower resistance anyway) are likely to get MORE sick from all the viruses and germs that the other sick people are bringing with them.  It's like a Germ Pot Luck party!  The private island will be much safer!

jazzy3‌ This blog is three months old, Tommy is doing great now, out of the hospital, back to living his joyful life.

About the Author
I am 51 yrs old and live in the Greater Cleveland area. I started smoking at a young age. I think it was more peer pressure at that time and just a few cigarettes a day until i became "LEGAL" to smoke. I then started smoking a pack or more a day, using stress as my excuse to smoke more. In reality, I realized after i quit smoking that there is no excuses for smoking. I am approaching 4 yrs next month, but I still have to work to protect my quit. I am here on Ex faithfully helping others and in return helps me. We call it here on Ex "Collateral Kindness" here is a link to my blog, 1 yr later that explained my trials in the the beginning of my quit. https://excommunity.becomeanex.org/blogs/ShawnP-blog/2013/03/14/one-year-later
