I am ready, to say goodbye. We have been through a lot these last 7 years. You were there when I felt I needed you most. For example, after having a beer, I felt I NEEDED you to support me. I felt that without you, I couldn’t socially enjoy being around anyone because I felt the need to use you. I truly wish i hadn’t touched you however, you were better than cigarettes (or at least I thought you were). You helped me quit smoking cigarettes. So for that I thank you. You got me away from smelling like an ashtray, making my car smell like garbage, and allowing me to breathe better (at least for the first few years). Today, I threw you in the garbage and made sure I couldn’t use you again by dumping other things all over you in the garbage. You have cost me hundreds of thousands of dollars and my health. You see, I’m trying to become a police officer, so using you just holds me back as I can’t breathe properly. This job is not meant for people who are not physically fit. I do want to thank you one more time for helping me quit smoking cigarettes, but little did I know, you would hypnotize me into thinking I needed you for so long. So, for those reason, I’m out. I’m never coming back no matter how hard the process of quitting is and the cravings. You are just not worth it anymore. Therefore, this is goodbye and good riddance.
