Patience and Persistence

Early on in my quit I had to keep reminding myself to have patience and be persistent and the rewards will come. After 6 years and 16 days they are still coming.

I used what I learned in the beginning of my quit on my fishing trip. Patience and being Persistent and the reward finally came.  There was this particular weed bed in this small channel I would fish thinking the big one was there.  I always caught fish but nothing real big.  Well on my final evening, my final time out fishing I decided to **bleep** thru that weed bed one last time.  My patience and persistence paid off and my reward came in way of a 35-inch / 89-centimeter Northern Pike. I released the fish back into the water after the picture
