PREP TIME!

I am counting down to Quit Day: February 2nd! I feel very confident in success! During my preparation I have read Allen Carr's EASYWAY: very motivational! I AM doing self hypnosis which I was not a believer (for myself) but I can tell that it is helping! There are some subliminal puzzles that I work on when I crave smokes (it is an app on my phone)! Pretty amazing! I haven't had a cigarette in two days and it's not even my official quit date! THIS WAS NOT POSSIBLE IN THE PAST! Why is it working now? I think that it is a combination of information, education, ammunition, preparation, and positive thoughts! Instead of getting worked up about not smoking I pat myself on the back and say "LOOK AT HOW WONDERFUL IT IS NOT TO SMOKE"!

Good Thinking!

No! GREAT THINKING!

Where you put your head is EVERYTHING in approaching your quit.

If you haven't had a cigarette in 2 days, why are you waiting?

The nicotine is out of your body in another 24 hours.

Rock On!

Thats the key to quitting. Educating yourself! That was what i didn't do on my previous attempts to quit. Consider yourself quit and keep moving forward. You're almost done with the physical cravings. 2 days is awesome!!!

I am! Why go back!? This time is different because I didn't take the help around me. I thought keeping it out of my would help me but I am looking the beast in the eyes! I am thinking about what I have lost from smoking and how I believed that it was something that got me through life but it only held me back! My life was designed around smoking, not me! How ridiculous! But now I look and every craving and think....I got through that and I am a NON SMOKER! I relish in that craving and take that moment as success! That is a moment of awesome success!

I am on day 67 .... my neice told me that quitting was all in my head.... and she was right.

I smoked for over 45 years and never thought I could stop.

Keep reading all the research... it is good to understand how even though you have a crave ... it is the addiction talking... you really don't "want" to smoke .... more like your brain thinks you have to smoke to feed the addition.

Hang in there ... You can do this!
