Diana, I will pray for you and your family!!!!!

Smoking wont change nothing but your quit date!!!! Yes it would make dealing with the depression easier in your mind but remember you have to change the way you think to live without smoking.. I have always ran to smoking when ever anything bothered me and now I'm changing that thinking and yes it is hard but that is what I want.. We can do this!!!!

NOPE

Diana, Im sorry about the loss of your daughter. May you find some comfort here with us to help guide you through this Journey. It sure isn't easy at times, especially when your heart is in dispair.

My mother died over 20 yrs ago, she left me a letter and asked a few things of me.. one of them was to quit smoking. I had achieved all the other things, but smoking was the last thing I had not done, I never thought I could quit, so I never really tried.

I just felt like my destiny was set in stone, to die young like my mother.

Then I found this site. Im proud to say I have been quit now over 175 days. She would be proud of me. I know when you quit, the pride in your heart that you feel, knowing your daughter is smiling down on you, will be worth anything you have to go through to make that happen.

The thing that helped me most, was to stay on this site, and make friends with people who I felt I had something in common with, and let their knowledge help guide me in my quit. There's alot of info here for you to read.

Take your time and get familiar with the site, there are alot of amazing people here...

I have one word of advice, the cigarette you THINK that is helping your depression, is actually feeding it. You will understand more, why we smoke by reading Allen Carrs book *The easy way to quit smoking*

we are all here for you...

welcome

Jo

So sorry to hear of the loss of your daughter.

When you are ready to quit smoking, this is THE place to be.

You will want to prepare for your quit.  There is reading and research to do.  This site will offer you info and support.

The people on this site are wonderful.  Keep blogging and reading other peoples blogs.  You can set your quit date, and get plenty of help here.

Again, my condolences to you and your family, on the loss of your loved one.  Babs
