Out of the blue.

Been absent for the Ex for quite some time.

I migrated here when the QuitNet.Com closed up it's  shop for good.

That web site was instrumental in my Quit and my membership spanned many years.

It was a fantastic place to come to for shelter when the cravings hit.

And they hit hard in the beginning and faded away with time.

Being quit almost 15 years, that *urge* to have a smoke is all but forgotten,

But a few days ago, out of the blue, a *hit* came a knocking.

I stopped what I was doing, and took my few deep breaths as I always do.

These out of the blue urges bother me now as they did then.

Learned early on in my quit this is all part of the Journey of  lifetime.

It is part and parcel of our addiction.

As there is no cure for our disease, we carry the card of NOPE (Not One Puff Ever) with us to the grave.

That is ok.

That is the reality of our addiction.

All this being said (after this latest episode) I looked up the EX Community in in my bookmarks and came right to this Place to post.

Relieved to see it was still here!!

It strengthened me.

It lifted me up.

Reading the blogs and posts ironed out all the wrinkles.

Thank you for being here!!!

Power to your Quit and Peace to your heart!!!
