Out of NML

Well 131 days and clear out of NML. It was so much easier then it seemed before I quit. I know there may be a lot of people who have just quit or are about to quit and they think "Easier Said Than Done". That's what I thought when I had the nicotine controlling my mindset. But trust me, the feeling of having this one thing, my quit, the most important thing I can ever have because no one can take it away. It's the only thing that has helped me keep my sanity the last couple of months. Which I know sounds crazy because I've been through alot but I know things are going to have their ups and downs. But looking at it through a pessimists eyes is not going to help at all. Once you let the positive energy take over the negative energy you will be surprised what you will receive it just all depends on how much your willing to work. Quitting smoking is not an easy feat. I will admit that. But if you ask ANYONE who has quit smoking was it worth it? They will tell you absolutely yes. Because we are no longer slaves to nicotine. Not only physically, but mentally, financially, and socially. You don't see it as a smoker but you really are a slave to and invisible master. But that master makes sure you have no true happiness. If you suffer from depression or anxiety. QUIT SMOKING, because nicotine and everything else in tobacco actually agitates depression and anxiety. Now that I have quit smoking I feel like a completely different person. It actually makes me feel like there are things I can achieve in life without second guessing myself the whole time. If you have low self esteem the best thing you can do is quit smoking because it will not only help with your anxieties but it will prove to YOU that you can do anything. This isn't about what others want for you or for themselves for that matter. It's about doing this for you! Keep educating yourself on quitting. Nicotine is the most addictive substance, sadly us as a society have a big part to play in that because we keep telling generations it's bad for you but basically it's for the most part socially accepted which is a complete lie. It's much easier to live the life of a nonsmoker. You don't have to worry if you have money for cigs, if you forgot your pack at home, the ever increasing prices. There are so many reasons why you should quit it's unbelievable but the feeling, the feeling of not relying on cigarettes is one you have to personally experience to understand how AMAZING it feels. Well my dears I am going to be watching movies tomorrow with an extremely attractive guy! He's going to come over and it's gonna be movie time, we aren't together in a serious sense. Just trying to live life and to get past the people I no longer need in my life. No reason to care about people who make me feel bad. obviously they're the bad friend. I wish all of you have a good rest of the weekend.
