Well, I have been doing pretty well with my little quit I have going here. I never would have thought that the patches would work so well for me. I have had a couple minor setbacks, but overall I'm doing well.

Last weekend I went to a party and just gave up for the night. I smoked an entire pack of smokes in one night, and I'm supposed to be a non-smoker! Ugh! But I didn't let it get me down, I just sarted over the next day and I haven't smoked since.

I had some nightmares at first from the patches, but I learned when to take them off so I don't have bad sleep. I also missed my last call with the quit counselor from the state. I'm going to call them tonight and let them know what's going on. They are going to send me my next step patches so I really can't let that go.

My kids, especially my 13 y/o son, are SO PROUD OF ME! I love it that I am showing them that I can't be beaten by a pack of smokes.

My son had always given me a hard time about smoking and now it's OVER! I used to have all this guilt about smoking and now it's OVER! I used to hate my stained teeth and never whiten them because the smoke would just stain them again and now they're WHITE! I gained a few pounds, but I already lost them again. My hair smells good, my hands smell good, my car smells good, and my house smells a lot better. (I still have dogs-ha!)

I'm pretty proud of me.

You should be proud of yourself.
The sleep thing comes and goes, but I always feel well rested when I get up.
How many smoke-free days do you have now?

Yeah Slim!
You just reminded me to call my coach from my insurance company. Ooops!
