I can't remember how many times I've tired to quit and lost the battle.  This time is the first time where I have gone a full 14 days without one puff. Nothing at all.  It's been a battle for me--I say the worse addiction ever!  I firmly believe that these companies now are putting more chemicals in these cancer sticks to keep us addicted.  But I believe that we can win this battle--one minute, one step, one day at a time.

Life to me is brand new and now I am learning to deal with life in a whole different way.  I'm 58 years old it's pretty wild to deal with life now smokefree.. When I get stressed or upset my normal would be lighting up and having a smoke.  Now it's deep breaths and lots of prayers.  Hey--whatever it takes.

I'm holding on to this quit and don't ever want to go through this again.  Withdraw is the worse and so tired of quitting--smoking--quitting.  No more I want off this merry go round for good.

The daily fears of what smoking is doing to me--fear of cancer--fear of death due to smoking is crazy.  I have enough to worry about--don't need more.

To those who don't think they can't do it--believe me you can.  It may take lots and lots of practice to get to that point.  lol  Look at me.  It took me years and finally I'm here and haven't smoked at all.  Very grateful and pray that this time it's for good.

Thanks for listening..
