Maybe it's because I'm just a true Okie from the "Sooner State", but whatever the case may be I just couldn't wait any longer! I changed my quit date last week in order to stay with the Chantix program, and I know all about following instructions and sticking with the program but what was I to do??

I didn't go out to smoke today until around 2. and even then I could only handle 2 puffs until I said to myself, "I don't want to do this anymore..enough is enough!!!" Reguardless of what I typed on a website as my quit date, or even the fact that I was quitting halfway through a day didn't seem matter to me in the least..My time had come to put smoking in my PAST and begin my journey as a NON-smoker 🙂 I hope I haven't offended anyone and I hope you all understand because you all have helped me so much to get to this point, and I need you to travel on down the road.

I haven't smoked in 6 hours, 38 minutes, and 20 seconds and I'm happy, happy, happy!!

You won't hear any argument from me!!  You have every right not to smoke if you don't want to.  Sounds like you are ready to do this.  Good for you.  Congrats on the first 6 1/2 hours.  We're all here for you.

(((HUGS))) I suggest writing the number of days in your quit each time you write your name. It really helped me when I was suggested to do so. It imprints those stackable days and lets others see how well you're doing. Goal 1) Get thru the first 3 days,Goal 2)  One week Goal 3) Double Digit Club!! YAY, YOU!!

Outstanding Meme, I'm sure thats what the people at chantix would love to hear.  Stick with it and let it work for you, I was on it for almost 12 weeks and I am 135 days quit. Rock on and lets get this quit done!
