It is the 2nd anniversary of a dear friend's death from Pancreatic Cancer and work has been relentless. Well relentless for thise of us that actually work, the ones that get all the credit have been laughing, conversing, shopping online...their usual "MO," while we just toil away and hope to meet all our deadlines.

Usually I would get away for a smoke, but have only left my desk once to use the restroom so far.

I keep the chant going..."what will it help? What will it do to make this better? NOTHING! It will only make me feel like a failure!"

Thank GOD for music or I would never make it!

how about trying boiling some tea and putting ur face in the vapors? i heard its soothing and relaxing and good for the skin. maybe that can take the edge off a bit 🙂

That's right, it won't help anything. It will just poison your body, raise your blood pressure, and increase your stress levels even higher. You've got the right mental attitude. That is half the battle. The other half is resisting the cravings. You can do it. Remember NOPE (Not One Puff Ever) and you WILL get through this. It will get easier with time.

I made it. Didn't give in...just needed to vent!
