What do we tip on when dining out? The food, the view, the price or the service
Went out to eat several times over the First meal was 98 dollars for Joyce and I, plus 20 dollar tip It was a nice clean restaurant with a view of the lake. Food was fair. Service was fair. Portions were small.
The following evening we decided to eat at a mom-and-pop restaurant. The meal was 24 dollars plus a 5 dollar tip (to start). The restaurant was clean with no view. The food was good. Service was great. ( Note: after getting up and paying the bill I found our waitress and gave another $5.) I felt bad, as I was thinking just because the price of the meal was cheaper why she should receive less for doing a better job?
