It's ThanksGiving today here in Canada, and I have been so busy this weekend getting ready for todays dinner, plus my birthday was a few days ago also, and a friends "memorial" birthday event the next day....Well lets just say my life is full and I am so grateful for that you can't imagine!

One of the benefits of a full and busy life is you don't have time to think about the things you DON'T have or the things you DON'T do anymore...like smoke!
If I didnt get my 1 year anniversary email from the folks at becoming an ex.org this morning, I would have forgotten all all about it. Today is my 1 year anniversay of being smoke free! 🙂

During my first 3 months I was checking in daily! Sometimes 2 or 3 times a day.
Then I found myself filling my time with the healthy living things that I wanted in my life to replace the nasty smoking habit. So I was checking in a little bit less often (Oh then there was MONTH 5!!! when I thought I would loose it, but thanks to EX and the solid connections I had made, I made it through!)

I'm very grateful to this program and to the people here who have been so helpful to me.
I have turned the page, and am living my life 'out there' smoke free and although I am still only 1 cigarette away from being a smoker again (don't think I don't know it!) I do not feel the need to be here as often.
I have my group that I keep connected to the goings on (although its been a wee bit quiet on Relapse Traps these days...hmmmm no one worrying about relapsing, that's a good thing!!! LOL)

So happy Canadian ThanksGiving to all, I have a great deal to be grateful for today.
