hey everyone I decided to write down here what I noticed since I quit smoking 2 weeks ago. I am listing the pro and cons of the quit. If anyone wants to add to their own experience that would be great. I find this subject very intriguing...Mayo clinic can tell you what to expect the medical aspects but I want to know the personal of it all. So here are mine.

Pros- 1) the money I'm saving

2) I smell so much better and look better

3) teeth are whiter

4)sense of taste and smell are magnified (too much maybe)

5)My car and home smells better

Cons-1)Eating like a little horse

2)very tired still

3)moody ( my husband still smokes and he smells bad and looks old )

4 stingier with my money  ( I think smokers are very generous with money because hell we blew it up every day but now since I have been saving for my big reward, I already have 100$ put aside. 50$ week habit I have been watching what i spend on stuff I really dont need. EXCEPT FOOD!

So exsmokers if you have anything to add to your personal experience please share with me i would love to hear it...

hahahahahaha!  I love what you said about your husband looking old.

Pros

Smoking no longer controls every aspect of my life.

When someone tries to bum a cigarette, I can tell them I don't smoke

I recently was able to have a life-saving surgery(I had endometrian cancer)because my lungs were clear enough to handle it.

I can go anywhere I want.

I'm not as nervous

I don't think about smoking 24/7

Cons

I don't have any cons

OMG. Haha. I was about to doing a retrospective on how i've changed over the past few weeks.... it's great to keep in mind.

My skin is better, I look way younger again! (Cougar-ville here I come!)  My breath is fresh (no more paranoia!) My lungs feel... open and relaxed! I've finally stopped coughing up sludge. I've stopped carrying around fabreeze to get rid of the smoke on my everything smell. My car, house, clothes smell.. clean! My tongue isn't all tarry! Teeth looking better! Brain... well..the upstairs is goin' nuts, but that's a given.

Eating like a horse too though.. I had no idea i could fly through BAGS of chips so fast. Gross. At least I can drink and not be too pissy about smoking now.

I miss it, like a mother, but I'm trying to embrace a better me. I'm allowing myself to indulge in athletic hard body fantasies whilst eating ice cream. I'll get there. I have faith. 🙂
