I had a great weekend! I got through probably my hardest challenge yet: I got to meet b/f's co-workers on Saturday and hang out with them after closing. We all sat around the bar, had drinks, and the 6 of them were chainsmoking the whole night. I noticed that I'm becoming allergic to the smoke! Unfortunately, I've been incredibly stopped-up all day as a result, but I had a good time anyway. I found myself at one point playing with a straw to help my urge, but that was the worst of it.
Before hanging out with them, I went into a gas station (where I used to buy cigs) for the first time since I quit. That was pretty tough, especially when I spotted my old smokes-of-choice. But I made it through that, too! Today, my cravings were much less frequent. That night proved to me me that my body is moving on from the cravings; I'm strong enough to get through the challenges; and cigarettes are becoming less desirable to me (physically and mentally). Hopefully the rest of this week continues to be as easy!!
On Friday, b/f told me he was proud of me for quitting, that I've been really strong, and he looks up to me for when he tries to quit. He keeps saying he's "hopelessly addicted" to them and I always say "Well yea, so is everyone else! It's not easy!" I don't think he'll be ready to quit anytime soon, which is a bummer. I wish there was a way to talk him into it, but I know that's not the right way. Any suggestions that might speed up the process?? lol!

I hope everyone else had a good weekend!
Good luck to all!!
