I was hoping for a miracle, for some relief, for some answers...doesn't look like that is going to happen soon. My blood work came back with elevated panel 8 levels...I have no idea what that means...oh and neither does the doctor. I called the cardiologist who requested my primary do the blood work, of course he wasn't in the office today, so his nurse told me she would have him my results tomorrow. Maybe he can shed some light on level 8!
So to continue with her exam, she starts to squeeze my toes...Okay don't touch pinky toe, she is blue and hurts like hell! Oh for everything that is HOLY, the woman almost got a Karate Kid kick to the side of her face. When I tell you not to touch it because it hurts, it doesn't mean squeeze harder! I'm pretty sure I didn't stutter!
Then she tells me I should have an MIR and go see a podiatrist because no one has actually looked at my foot, they have looked everywhere else.
Well, about 45 minutes ago she called me to let me know that she conferred with my vascular surgeon and he told he without a shadow of a doubt this was vascular, nothing that a podiatrist could do. He told he it is just a waiting game, my toe is either going to get better or it is going to get to the point that it has to be amputated.
In there conference with each other they thought it best that I see a hematologist to make sure there is nothing wrong with my blood. Well, I guess the more things that are ruled out the better.
So back to the painkillers, the sleepless nights and emotional breakdowns! 😞 But I'm not smoking over it!
