For anyone who has read my previous blogs I quit smoking a little over a month ago. I was using the nicotine patch. However, I have found that it gives me a terrible rash and causes believe it or not minor hair loss. I spoke with my doctor this morning and he says this could be a side effect of the patch and had some concerns about the rash (he said it looked like mild burns) on my skin. Has anyone had to go cold turkey off the patches before? Will it effect me like it did when I first quit smoking if I stop putting the patch on? I haven't had one on for a few hours and am feeling ok. Just don't want to have a freak out moment and spoil my hard work. Any thoughts or advice would be great. Thanks!!
