Hey all. I'm really honored to be the new member spotlight person. Haven't been as active in the past week or so. Been super busy not smoking. That's right, folks. Smoke free since 10-12. Over a week! Did lots of research on here. Lots of blogging about questions I had. Blogging helps a lot. If you're reading this and are new here, make friends with Dale and Giulia. They give out great advice and will give you tough love. Their pages have a ton of useful links. Especially Allen Carr's book. But I'm proof that you can quit. You have to be committed and positive and informed. Each person is different and needs their own plan that will work for them. I used to look at people's posts that said smoke free for a couple days, weeks, or years. Was so jealous. But now it's me too. It can be you, too. Not promising all rainbows and sunshine, but it's not as tough as you think. You have a great support system here. Thank you so much for everyone's kind, supportive, and sometimes tough love words. Wouldn't be where I am without you.
