Hello all,

i quit smoking cold turkey on 10/15/21, so I’m at the 3 week mark.

it’s been a battle for sure; i wasn’t sleeping or eating, i was placed on hypertension meds (temporarily) and my pressure is MUCH BETTER this week, i think it was all the panic and anxiety i endured initially.

I took time off from work to heal, as this has been very challenging both mentally and physically on my body, it’s like i put my body in major shock!

i also cuz back my caffeine intake hugely. I am finally sleeping good, but ending week 3, I’m still jittery most of the day, my feet tingles come and go, I’m congested at times with pressure in my ears and head ,etc. my legs feel like jello, and i keep telling myself it WILL GET better. I never went through this when i smoked, so this is all new for me.

I wanted to quit as i had hurt had enough financially and physically, my body was ready but my mind wasn’t. So glad i took the plunge to quit.

im not craving any smokes, but going into week 3, i feel like garbage on so many levels. Does this get better physically? Anybody else go through extreme physical withdrawals? I’m so glad I’m not working right now, i don’t know when I’ll go back, but there’s no way i can handle work stress and these physical symptoms that have taken over my body for a while!

Thanks for any input, advice, or sharing similar symptoms you experienced.

Lisa ❤️
