I quit back a while for 18 years - had kids and did not smoke, then started again.  My first smoke was when in was a teen.  I have no other drugs or alcohol in my life, just the smokes.  I am tired of saying I smoke because of this, because of that - I want a clean brain, clear lungs.  Have not looked at the information yet on the details of what this habit does to my brain and body and intiutively know it damages all aspects of my life.  They say it is harder to quit smoking than quitting heroin.  I believe this.  I gave my self the quit day of April 17, but think I can do it sooner.  If not today, when?  I'm scared and need to know how to do this without using a patch or vapor or anything.  I always have quit cold turkey - headaches, nerves, seeing things etc., but after a few days this does go away.  Oldsters who have put together solid quit time are who I want to learn from.  I will be putting more of my triggers on my page as these are what I need to pay attention to at this stage.  honestly everything is a trigger.  But I don't want a drug ruling my consciousness -

Will spend some time poking around this site - I love it so far
