New Exer's
Anyone planning on quitting smoking as their New Years resolution, it's important to understand why so many resolutions are broken quickly.
It's important to not only having a specific goal, but understanding that it is a process. All too often our goal is too vague. We say we're going to lose weight or get more active, but we don't have a plan on how we're going to accomplish that in a way that is measurable. If quitting smoking is your goal, that might mean not smoking today and learning how to change your behavior to maintain your quit.
Expecting too much of yourself too quickly can set you up for failure. One mistake and your resolve is broken.
So plan for your quit, put past attempts to quit behind you, focus on one day at a time and most importantly, use the support that's available here to help you achieve your goal..
