I am so very sorry Sharon, I do know the pain you're in the not knowing what happened for sure is the hardest part. Take care of yourself ok and Lord willing you may still find out what happened . XOXO
i had a Siamese cat we called T.J. She was gone for3 or 4 years , then one day while I was working in my yard , here she came ...but sadly I had picked up another cat And he ran her back off. Not trying to give you false hope , just thought I wold share my story .
Do you have Animal Control close? Is it possible they picked her up? Did you post signs on telephone polls around your town with her photo and maybe a reward? Check with the local vet like Dale suggested?
Maybe you've done all those things - but if she got scared, it may take a bit for her to show up anywhere.
I understand your need to grieve, and it is appropriate.....but there still might be a glimmer of hope?
Sharon----I am so sorry for you....I am grieving along with you. But, I agree with Nancy. Please try the shelters etc. Sometimes, dogs return even after many days. We lost a dog once for over a week.......definitely thought she was gone. Her tags had come off and someone found her. Took her to the animal shelter. It can happen.
