My name is Wesley, and I am a nicotine addict. I have stopped nicotine for 15 days, 7 hours, 12 minutes and 35 seconds (15 days).

I've not smoked 383 death sticks, and saved $90.90. I've saved 1 day, 7 hours and 52 minutes of my life.

This marks the two slid weeks of being an EX. Last week was pretty damn hard to be honest, I can say that there were a few moments there when I thought I wasn't going to make it. But I just changed my thoughts, gave myself something to do, or just simply rode through the storm... and now it's been two full weeks.

The Chantix has helped a lot. The nausea is still pretty bad in the morning most days, but I try and get something in my stomach to pad it now. I think the most important part of the equation however, is the mental aspect of the quit. The first week I was sure I never wanted to smoke again, making quitting easy. The second week I wasn't sure if I never wanted to smoke again, making quitting terribly hard. Now in my third week I am sure I never want to smoke again, but understand that my resolution may wane at times. With this understanding, I feel like I can truly call myself a non-smoker now. It feels great!
