My quit day is going well so far!

yesterday I felt like i was taking an important exam , nervous and making sure I was well prepared.

Going over the different scenarios in my head if the craving or an urge hits me. got all my celery and carots sticks, nuts and gum. Feeling more confident than ever. Preparation is the key. I'm going to win this.

I want to thank everyone for all the tips and advices I got here. Couldn't have done it without you!

Will keep you posted.

Congratulations on your first day's travel on the road to FREEDOM!

There will be some hills, and bumps along the way, but in the end it will be so worth it, I promise!

Keep plugging along!

Today- YOU became a NONSMOKER! Awesome, isn't it???? Simple- smokers smoke because they think they need to and NONSMOKERS dont smoke because they know they DONT NEED TO!  BE STRONG. you made a decision to stop the crazy, stinking habit thats gonna cause you more health problems than you can afford. Let it go- set it free...Be a better you!

Congratulations and welcome, stick close by, blog and read blogs and do not be afraid to ask questions.  We have all been on our first day, we all remember it really well.  One day at a time and remember that quitting is a journey and not an event.

Best, Ellen

Aaww! Thank you guys for your encouragement and support!

Every time I was in the car or my usual triggers today I'd say to myself "I don't smoke anymore". Feels good and believable to me!

I guess my journey has officially began!
