My company left yesterday, however one of my best friends is in ICU and in very serious condition. I wanted to let everyone know that I will be off Ex for a while longer and the reason why. I don't want any of you worrying, as I tend to do when a regular disappears, that I've relapsed or had my own health issues. I also believe in the power of prayer and would like to request that you pray for my friend Moe. She has a blood clot in her aorta, one that is attached to her spleen and another in her liver. The doctor said that her blood clot is the largest he has ever seen. In addition, the locations of the clots make it extra dangerous to try and break them up with heparin or thinners. She was transferred from the best hospital in Jacksonville to Shands in Gainesville last night. Gainesville is the best trauma/surgical hospital in Florida and they have called in their best team to see if surgery is a possibility. Either way, it doesn't look good so please pray for her. I just lost a good friend to a blood clot right before Christmas, I pray the Lord doesn't take Moe too.
