My First Time Being Sick as an EX

I've never been one to get sick often. In fact, it used to be years and years between the times I would get sick. But here I find myself sick again this September, one year after the last time I was sick. The good thing about being sick this time around is that I can vividly recall how smoking made my symptoms a lot worse last year!

I have a really, really sore throat and a nasty cough. Oh how well I remember smoking anyway last year despite how much it hurt my throat, even though it made me cough a thousand times harder! I didn't care, I couldn't deal with being so sick unless I had my true friend to help me get through it. Even when the doctor told me I had bronchitis, I still smoked. My head hurt sooo much worse last year and it seemed the fever was even worse too.

So a year later, I find myself sick. And I'm noticing all of these differences. This time, I think that the Echinacea/Goldenseal I'm taking every hour is actually having a chance to really help! And the Airborne and all the other junk I'm using to combat the yuckies! I'm still having headaches, coughing, sneezing and feeling like blah, but it's not nearly as bad as it was last year.

Last year, it took me over 2 weeks to get over this. After 3 days, I'm already feeling a lot better.
