Well this is one day that didn't go as plan. Spent most of morning looking for a roof contractor, finally found one that can come out on Monday. Yep, still have a leak coming from some where. I sure hope it is going to be an easy fix. I shut the power off to the lights in the kitchen because the leak it is just to close to the electrical fixtures. And whoever did the wiring to the house has me all confused.  But the microwave and refrigerator work. Had to plug in the wireless router and phone into different plug ins. I will make do even if the kitchen ceiling collapses. It all going to be alright....eventually.

Missed my water aerobic class because of this but will just do some dvd zumba. Was going to go to The Dahlia Farm but it is raining and now I think I need to save my money.

My son, Matthew had a follow up appointment with chemo doctor yesterday his blood labs continue to improve although still low. He has an appointment on Wednesday the 28th at the Ivy Center for Advanced Brain Tumor Treatment at Swedish in Seattle. We will see if anything new has come up and what clinical trials are available. He is always fatigued but pushes through when he needs too he continues to take his naps.

I am still learning, if that is the right word, to continue on without my husband at my side. I took myself to a movie and did enjoy it even though I cried almost all the way through it and it wasn't because my husband wasn't sitting by my side it was because it was a inspirational story of faith, love & hope and of course there was sorrow.

Also been cooking up new recipes trying new flavors, A few weeks ago I did new recipes everyday for 10 days had to stop because I had so many leftovers and no more containers left. Been using up the leftovers and soon as those are gone I will do it again, I had a lot of fun doing it and looking forward to it again.

Let see what else. oh yes, I went to a potluck that the pool exercise class put on and usually I don't go to these things because the food I eat is different but I decided you know what I will bring what I know I will eat and they can eat it or not and you know what? they liked it. I even made some of my special peanut butter cookies that I only make for special occasions because if I eat one I want to eat them all. The peanut butter cookies will be posted in the newsletter they have that made me feel good. It was nice to introduce healthier choices to this pool exercise group and have them realize that healthy foods can taste good. I guess I will quietly just keep at it.

Smoke free what a lovely way to live. Living the life the way it should be and not hiding behind that puff of smoke. A smoke free life is there for the taking. I say grab it and never let it go.

And that is my chit chat for now.... wait.. I don't hear the drip drip anymore it must of stop raining Yippee!
