I have quit so many times, do you think I need 2 weeks to prepare? I was thinking of moving my quit day up to this Sunday.

I didn't reallly prep - just decided to quit and didn't buy anymore.  In my opinion, 2 weeks would be too long for me.  I would move it up if you feel like you are ready.  Are you using the patch or other aid?

Only you know when you are prepared and committed to your quit. I would suggest that you educate yourself and prepare for a successful quit. You can do it!

It is up to you to make the decision about your quit date. If you are ready prepared and have a plan it should be okay to move it up but if not keep it when it is.  It is your decision totally.

Have you done the readings, done the tracking and separation exercises, made your lists of reasons to quit and distraction activities to keep with you.

If so - Sunday is fine.  If not, maybe give yourself a few extra days to prepare?  Education, preparation and planning are important parts of a successful quit!

Whatever you decide, stick with it!  It CAN be your final quit!

you know only you can say how ready you are i was sick when i decided enough was enough... and i put on a patch and that was that.. but i failed alot of times too...like nancy said education preparation and planning are very important...

sometimes you have completed those steps  previously and are ready to take the final step....but if you do do it seriously... because its no joke.. you will struggle

but thats okay cause nothing good comes easy...

Are you ready?  If so, then go for it.  My question is WHY do you want to move your quit date up?  And ARE you prepared?  You say you've quit so many times - what was the reason for the failures?  If it was lack of preparation, then I'd say yes, stick out the next two weeks and continue to prepare.

I spent a month prior to quitting getting my head in gear for it. Reading, blogging, learning, studying...  you do what you think is best.

If you're ready, then you're ready.  Just don't use the fact that you set your quit up as an excuse for a relapse.  For it's a common one on here "Well, I just wasn't ready.."  So if you ARE ready - as I said, GO FOR IT!
