I have been making my own milk Kefir to help my anxiety and overall health which is very good anyway despite being a smoker for over 40 years. There are many benefits to milk kefir and fermented foods. I have never liked milk to drink but I love this stuff and I feel like it's helping me whether real or placebo, who cares? Feeling better is feeling better! I'm using it to lower cortisol and help manage stress and anxiety which can only help me remain smoke free.
