Couple days late - but the sentiment is the same - I wish you all a wonderful and merry Christmas - a successful new year -
On Dec 23rd, in the morning, I was awakened by a call from my sister in law, that my brother was in the hosp, having been admitted the night before. He was in for a suspected heart attack. Gratefully - it was NOT a heart attack. They are going to check a number of things - hopefully they get to the bottom of it. He was here on Christmas day and it meant so much to have him here - safe and sound.
This brother has the worst time quitting smoking! He offered to take out the garbage for me while he was here Christmas day - said he needed to go out to the car to get his lozenges. When he came back in, he did NOT smell like a lozenge. My heart just breaks- I remember how tough it is to quit! I remember how much you THINK you'll miss smoking. I remember how LOST you feel when you ponder giving up your long time companion.
Oh my goodness - I am SO ELATED that I quit smoking almost 20 months ago. I am SO CONFIDENT that anyone reading this that is contemplating quitting can do this thing! YOU JUST HAVE TO STOP SMOKING. That is the simple trick to quitting.............QUIT.
It's not easy - it's not magic. But it's POSSIBLE. If this girl can quit smoking - ANYONE can!
Remember - you will never regret the one you don't light! You'll kick yourself for every one you DO light -
God bless you as you start and continue this journey as a non smoker!
*hugs*
