I would like to renew my commitment to to stopping smoking. I need to have a new start date but want to do it differently this time so I will be more successful. I had one month when I relapsed las and don't want that to happen. i just graduated college at my age and am in the alcohol and drug counseling field. As a recovering alcoholic for 12 years I understand how difficult it is to quit. Cigarettes are the one addiction that I have that has been the hardest to give up. I really need suggestions on a quit date and what would be the most appropriate solution for a pack a day smoker for the last 4 years, I was smoke free for 8 years prior to that. I thought it would be a good idea to go to a nicotine anonymous meeting we have here on Mondays. I know that won't be enough, I will need additional support.
