Married for 29 years. Practice Administrator for Pediatric Clinic. Love to travel and read. Smoked one pack a day for 42 years!!!! Last day of smoking was 09/25/09 and this is the first time that I want to stop smoking. Just going cold turkey. Tried Chantix at my doctor's insistance but it did not work because I did not want it to work and the medication did a real head job on me. That is a dangerous medication for some people! I am looking forward to a smoke free future but I need a support group. I was the only smoker in my family so the family has no idea what I am going through. Just hope with will power and support from new friends I can do this!
