Hi to Everyone at Ex’s...

There are many New Year’s Resolutions, but quitting smoking can save one’s life.  If you make quitting your resolution, be sure to read at My EX Plan | BecomeAnEX and prepare for that day like no other.  Also, come here for support and to encourage others on this journey.  Keep it positive and become knowledgeable.  You can do this...

Make sure you keep busy with this great list /blogs/Maggie_quit_8-1-2010-blog/2012/03/19/100-things-to-do-instead-of-smoking?sr=search&searchId=f...

You can come here daily to pay it forward and to pledge not to smoke for today. The Daily Pledge December 2019

Anything Worth having takes hard work...and a great group like the Ex’s...

Happy New Years’ to All...Neil and Colleen 390 DOF

Beautifully put. Your blog has made me reflect on whether I've made this resolution. Seems I was busy with one day at a time. Lifelong resolution might be my next step!!!  Thank you.

Great picture!. It's funny-in AA they teach us to look at our recovery 1 day at a time. But I get so much comfort knowing this is my forever quit, and I don't ever have to put 1 of those nasty things in my mouth again.

HI Connie...I honestly agree with the “one day at a time”...but at New’s Years’ I often feel people make resolutions that by Super Bowl are gone...so I feel like perhaps if we look at a lifetime resolution we are ready to start the process...actually I am so glad for not having to quit on New Years’...

You are doing great Connie....Happy and Healthy New Year...

"They" say that's why people don't keep their resolutions because they make too big or vague resolutions instead of setting an achievable goal.   For example instead of saying I'm going to lose weight, set your goal at losing 5 lbs. Then you can keep adjusting the goal.

This is so encouraging and positive! Thanks for the quick happy note. It helps me know there are better days ahead.

I am here to quit smoking. This will be my third quit. Both quits before lasted a long time and then about 4 years ago I thought I could just have one with a cocktail and a friend, here I am 4 years later and finally quit 13 days.
