I had a big test last night. Went to a friend's house. Lots of drinking. I participated my fair share. He pulls out a box that has a beautiful assortment of expensive cigars. Maybe two dozen from all over the world. Then another couple shows up and she has "quit" smoking for two weeks. But she has a fresh fat pack in her hand. "I am partying tonite" so it does not count, she said. (She is not an EX). So I partied.
I went into the garage (smoking den). I visited. I watched the cigars get lit and the cigarettes get smoked and politely declined when offered either. I did not really want either. So on this particular test, I got 100. I was perfect and it was because I was prepared with the knowledge and experience from the EX. I see some of my friends here make poor choices and I was not going to let that happen. I knew that before I went to the party but it is one thing to have your mind right and another to have cigarettes and cigars laid out in front of you after some cocktails...I would not recommend this but I had to take the test and I am pleased to say it was an A+. 48 days and going strong. NOPE.
