Made it! 24 Hours! Couple of questions, though. Sick as a dog and just miserable in general.

Thank you everyone for your great comments! Today was unequivocally torture. When you check on different sites, some say cute things like "nausea" and "moodiness". My day consisted of waking up, puking my guts out, being horribly depressed, and very uncharacteristically angry and just spaced out, and it is only right now the end of the first 24 hours, 7 of which I slept for! Oh well, I know in my heart it will all be worth it. Just out of curiousity, anybody else have really bad nausea, and find anything useful to help with it? All of you take care and God Bless! Joseph

I wouldn't blame the quit for puking your guts out.  I'd see a doctor if that continues.

yep, it must get better. I feel so crappy because my body is craving something that has been poisoning me. Oh well, nobody made me do it in the first place. Take care and God Bless! Joseph

The only people I know that were nauseated after quitting were people on Chantix. If you are not, you possibly have a stomach virus? Call your doctor and hang in there with your quit.

No, sorry, quitting smoking doesn't make you puke your guts out. Maybe you have the flu. Check with your doctor.

Nicotine addiction can do just about anything to your body to get you to come back to the poison.  Suck on some starlight mints because peppermint helps with nausea and will get the cigarette taste out of your mouth. If you are still after a day, call your doc.
