MORNING Day 2

It really seems that the cravings are the worse when I wake up in the morning, after my afternoon nap, and at night before going to bed!

At least I didn’t wake up with a major sinus headache, I haven’t had to be in front of the toilet getting rid of alot of mucus, and the bad cough I had has lessened alot! I did wake up around 12:30am last night wanting a cigarette; but I opted to just go to the bathroom and try to go back to sleep!

I tried my best to stay busy yesterday with reading, playing my games on my phone, and getting some housework done that had piled up!

I also noticed that my cat was running around happy instead of sneezing constantly because I wasn’t smoking!

The problem with today is finding things to stay busy with; and even though not smoking makes me tired not to take alot of naps!

I hope that today will be better than yesterday and it has already started that way!

I hope that everyone has a great day!

Thank you

If you need to sleep now, listen to your body.  Some people keep moving and other's need more rest.  Stay close.

What an insightful post into your day yesterday .

You mentioned you noticed your cat not sneezing . Hold onto that ... quitting smoking is doing that and so much more for both of you .

If sleeping helps you through go for it , if house cleaning helps do it , if music helps , turn up the music . You are doing great ...

I had the morning newspaper ready to read in the mornings with my coffee , and a place setting with breakfast and flowers on the table . I felt the effort to make things cheery for my quit helped .

Younare doing great .. congrats on your successful day yesterday .. and onward day 2 .

You are doing this & your cat will be very grateful. YOU will be very grateful as you stack those days of freedom up. Think of some special reward you can get with the money you save.

You are doing GREAT!

Way to go Grammy25‌!  Sometimes sleep is just what you need.  Remember how important it is to take care of yourself right now.  maybe you could occupy time by thinking of ways to take care of you and pamper yourself.  After what you are accomplishing-  you deserve some pampering!

Wonderful news Grammy25‌. I am so happy for you that you are almost 2 days free of cigarettes! Most say the first few days are the worse. Hang in there. Pledge each day not to smoke. Post your stats. Just keep going, one day at a time. I see by your quit plan that you have now saved yourself from smoking 36 cigarettes~ Way to go!!!
