Longtime quit

I'm confused.  What was wrong with the old way?

I've managed to 'like' a few messages I found by accident and I pledged.  But now I'm tired.

Anyway, I just popped in to say hi to everybody.  Don't know when last I was active.  Not sure how to send a blog/discussion/chat?  So maybe this is going nowhere?

Blessings and love to you all.

What do you mean by "What was wrong with the old way?"

You successfully posted a new Journal / Blog Article. Very similar to Blog Posts on the previous community. Success!

Congrats on your quit!

@Bree19  Ya did it right, kid. The "old way" was easier, better, simply because we understood it.  But when we moved to Jive, we didn't understand it then either.  With each platform change there's a major learning curve.  And it's mighty uncomfortable. About as uncomfortable as a Day One of a quit.  I hear ya. Hang around for a bit.  Hopefully we'll all figure it out.  Hopefully.  Meanwhile you posted in the right place and we read you loud an clear!

That gave me a real kick to see you guys responding.  Thank you.  I feel awful that my first sentence was a complaint about the site having changed.  I've been reading and scrolling and clicking this morning for a good hour and it all makes sense vaguely and I'll pick it up as I go along.  When I joined back in 2017you were changing from your 'old' way to jive with much complaining discussion and lively tantrums debates.  I was fascinated as I had nothing to compare it to and just had to learn a new website (AND quit smoking at the same time 😫).

But I made it and learnt along with you.  Still it's remarkable that this time coming back after a break, I again have to learn a new site - at least I'm properly smoke free this time so picking it up might go more smoothly.  Guess the answer is, don't turn your back Bree.
